What is a Hydrafacial treatment?

Hydrafacial treatment is a non-invasive patented technology to hydrate and cleanse your skin. It replenishes your facial skin with highly-effective serums containing red algae extract, hyaluronic acid, horse chestnut seed extract, copper, zinc and magnesium peptides. For greater results, Hydrafacial treatments may be combined with Dermaplaning or laser treatment.

Am I a Good Candidate for a Hydrafacial Treatment?

Hydrafacial treatments are recommended to anyone desiring hydrated, spot-free, smooth skin. It is suitable for all skin types and the treatment is personalized to your skin requirements.

Hydrafacial Treatment Procedure

The procedure involves 3 important steps including:

  • Cleansing and Peeling: This involves physical exfoliation using water and chemical exfoliants using a non-irritating mix of glycolic and salicylic acid. The suction tip of the Hydrafacial device removes the dead skin cells.
  • Extraction and Hydration: Painless suction is used to remove debris from the skin pores followed by the application of moisturizers and a pro antioxidant formula containing peptides.
  • Protection: Serum containing antioxidants is then applied to prevent damage from pollution, stress and the harmful UV rays of the sun.

All 3 steps are performed using a hydrated, water-based solution. Some dermatologists use LED light as the final step to stimulate the production of collagen.

Your Skin after a Hydrafacial Treatment

Your skin will experience:

  • Smoothness and firmness with a younger look and feel
  • Reduction in skin puffiness, wrinkles, and fine lines
  • Reduction of pore congestion

Advantages of Hydrafacial Treatments

Certain treatments that involve mechanical exfoliation of your skin may not be suitable for sensitive types of skin or acne-prone skin. Hydrafacial treatments use water for exfoliating to prevent skin irritation and damage.
